They say it's the best breakfast in town, so we were excited to become one of the newest Community Partners for the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Fort Gordon Chapter and attend the August "Breakfast & Briefing" at the Gordon's Conference & Catering Center.
AUSA Greater Augusta-Fort Gordon Chapter is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army - Regular Army, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.
Today's speaker was MAJ Chris Patterson, USMC. It was an educational presentation with an insight on how the Marine Corps has a presence on an Army base. And we are always excited for a chance to join other Community Partners in support of Fort Gordon. And it was, indeed, a delicious breakfast!
